Spring Highlights 2016

This spring we've got some amazing shows (that will make brilliant Christmas presents...) to tempt your theatrical tastebuds and help you experience the best in UK theatre. The Princess and The Pea
Running from Friday 4th December until Saturday 9th January this year's Christmas show promises to be incredibly special. It's directed by acclaimed director Nina Hajiyianni who creates incredible work for all the family, we have performances between Christmas and New Year for the first time and we've a stellar cast including CBeebie's Josie Cerise, brilliant Canadian improvisor Duncan Cameron, and Liverpool theatre stalwarts Keddy Sutton (Mis Lez & Mam I'm 'Ere) and RAW's Graham Hicks! The Hogwallops
An acclaimed circus show for all the family that Unity and The Black E are presenting this February. Expect heart-stopping circus skills, slapstick, acrobatics and more. It's great value at just £25 for a family ticket! It's on from Thu 18 to Sat 20 Feb. More?

A new production created by The Wrong Crowd with Soho Theatre this show for ages 7+ tells the story of a lonely girl sent to live with her grandma and the wild adventure that follows. It uses storytelling, puppetry and music. This show is Pay What You Want  (we recommend around £8 but it's up to you!) so make sure you book early to avoid missing out! Tue 15 to Wed 16 March! More?

The Possible Impossible House
One of the world's most innovative and in demand theatre companies are Sheffield's Forced Entertainment who take their shows across the globe. They've created their first show for ages 6+ which uses projection, video and live performers! Make sure you book early for this one too as they've sold out every time they've been to Liverpool. Hot Water Comedy Club
This Christmas Hot Water Comedy Club are in residence with shows to offer an adult alternative to The Princess and The Pea. Featuring some of the best acts in UK comedy these shows are perfect for a night out with friends, family or work to celebrate Christmas! Dates across December! More?

Chris Stokes
One of the best upcoming comedians in the UK. We loved his show Altruism In Birds when we saw it in Edinburgh - brutally funny with clever storytelling it had the edge over pretty much everything else we saw - don't miss this last chance to see this show and sample some of his new 2016 show before anyone else! Move Over Moriarty
We love LipService Theatre at Unity. They (Maggie and Sue) create hilarious parodies of cult classics - Wuthering Heights became Withering Looks, James Bond became Jane Bond and now Sherlock Holmes becomes Move Over Moriarty. Brilliant, clean, hilarious fun! Thu 14 to Sat 16 Jan! More?

The Broke 'N' Beat Collective
20 Stories High create smart vibrant passionate work for young and old alike while Theatre-Rites are experts in puppetry. What will happen when these companies work together? Fireworks! Thu 4 to Sat 13 Feb! More?

Going Viral
Dan Bye has brought a few shows to Unity over the past 3 years, starting with acclaimed The Price Of Everything. He combines comic storytelling with a way of bringing the audience into stories in new and innovative ways. His new show, both funny and terrifying is about virus'! Fri 29 - Sat 30 Apr. More?
